Library Hours: Monday to Saturday-9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Lunch Time-12:30p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Issue counter closes half an hour before the Closing time of the library.
Library will remain closed On, Sundays and all gazetted holidays.
a) General Rules: Students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution are eligible to use the library. Identity card is compulsory for access to the library Every reader should sign in the entry register kept at the gate. All personal belongings, except small purses, note sheets and pens are not in-side the library .Readers should maintain silence in and around library premises. Mobile phones should be Switched off in the library. Marking. tearing or folding of pages is not allowed. It is the responsibility Of the Librarian to maintain cleanliness in the library and to arrange books in proper shelves. Provision of separate reading rooms should be available for student and staff. The Librarian reserves the right to suspend the membership of any member found misbehaving with the library staff or any other member.
i. All the bona fide students of the College, Faculty and Non-Teaching staff are eligible for free membership.
ii. Filled in application in prescribed form duly forwarded by the head of the respective unit (in case of staff) along with one recent photographs (passport size) shall be submitted to the Library. Membership is granted on the express understanding that they legally bind themselves to return all documents issued to them (which are the property of the college) on their own and obtain a ‘No-dues Certificate’ at the time of termination of their membership.
c) Borrowing Rules: The privilege of borrowing books from the Library is restricted to members only.
Identity cards must be produced for borrowing books. These cards are not transferable.
The reader should check the books thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, etc., while getting them issued.
No damaged book will be accepted from the users on return. Damaged books will have to be replaced by the borrower
Loss of identity card should be reported immediately to the Librarian Books issued will not be accepted back on the same day.
Loss of books must be reported immediately. Late fee, if any, will be charged till the loss of book is reported.
Books are re-issued/ renewed only if there are no claims.
Readers will be charged with fine for overdue books @Rs.2/-- per book per day; the membership will be cancelled after a period of 10 days of non-return of the books.
Reference books, theses, CDs and loose issues/ bound volumes of periodicals will not be issued.
Every user is requested to check the status of the books outstanding against their name soon after a transaction at the counter.
Discrepancy, if any, should be brought to the notice of the staff at the counter immediately. Any complaint thereafter is will not be entertained.
Books or other material taken from the stacks should not be reshelved by the readers. Books should be left on the reading table after use. Please remember that a document misplaced is a document lost.

Online Resources: Fair use terms and condition
Online (Secured Internet) access to subscribed resources is available on intranet.
Visitors shall not access subscribed e-resources. E-resources can be used for academic purpose only. Using e resources for commercial gain is not permitted (i.e. reselling,redistributing or republishing licensed content).
Transmitting, disseminating or otherwise making online content available to unauthorized users (i.e. sending to mailing lists or electronic bulletin boards) is not permitted.
Systematic downloading or printing of entire journal issues or volumes, or large portions of other e-resources is not permitted.
Internet ID/ password given to members of Institute should be kept confidential.
Users should logout of their internet account after using internet in library

of the academic year. This orientation is designed to introduce the students
to the Library's resources and to strengthen the research skills.

CLEARENCE / NO DUES
